About Lakeside

Who We Are as a Church

Lakeside Regional Church is a welcoming Christian community committed to the truth of Scripture and the transforming power of Jesus Christ. We are a multi-campus church serving the Adirondack region, gathering in both Hague and Ticonderoga to worship, learn, and grow together.

We believe the church is more than a place you attend—it is a people you belong to. Our desire is to cultivate a genuine, Christ-centered community where individuals and families can grow in their faith, build meaningful relationships, and discover their place in God’s story.

Our Mission

Our Mission: Making Disciples of Jesus Christ

From the moment you arrive, you’ll be welcomed into a relaxed and friendly environment where you can come as you are. Our gatherings begin with worship through music, followed by biblical teaching that is both practical and rooted in truth.

Whether you’re exploring faith or have been walking with God for years, you’ll find a place to grow, connect, and belong.

Bible Teaching

We are committed to teaching the Bible clearly and faithfully, helping people understand God’s Word and apply it to everyday life.

Worship and Prayer

We gather to worship Jesus and seek God’s presence together, growing in our relationship with Him through prayer and praise.

Community & Fellowship

We believe spiritual growth happens best in authentic relationships where people are known, supported, and encouraged.

Outreach & Service

We are called to serve our communities with compassion, sharing the love and hope of Jesus in practical ways.

What We Believe

Lakeside Regional Church is rooted in the Wesleyan tradition and holds to historic Christian beliefs centered on the authority of Scripture and the saving work of Jesus Christ. These core beliefs shape everything we teach, how we live, and how we serve.

BIBLICAL AUTHORITY: The Bible is the highest source of written authority for God’s plan for His people; it reveals how to live out that plan, individually and corporately. Beliefs, practices, priorities are to be anchored in clear biblical teachings.

CHRISTLIKENESS: Jesus Christ is the defining feature of God’s will for all humankind. In Christ is found the highest and most practical meaning and clearest example for holy living or godliness. Christ is both example and strength as Wesleyans pursue integrity, excellence, faith, hope, and love.

DISCIPLE-MAKING: Making disciples is a clear mandate from Christ. This requires a strong focus on evangelism and training in spiritual growth and holy living. Done effectively, this will produce and promote growth and health in and among the churches.

LOCAL CHURCH CENTERED: The denomination exists to serve local congregations. Local churches are the most fundamental and strategic points of evangelism and discipleship. The challenge of the denomination is to keep finding the best ways to serve and strengthen congregations.

SERVANT LEADERSHIP: Wesleyans respect leadership that is placed over them, while realizing that the authority and effectiveness of spiritual leadership is not primarily bestowed, but earned and manifested by a loving and willing heart of obedience that serves God and mankind gladly. Wesleyans desire to be leaders in serving.

UNITY IN DIVERSITY: There is intrinsic value in every person. Unity becomes all the more important and beautiful in the light of the wide ranges of difference in personality, culture, race, talents, and perspectives. Loving each other eliminates devaluation and deprivation of life to one another.

our doctrine

Historic Christian Doctrine Rooted in Scripture

Our doctrine is grounded in the authority of Scripture and the historic teachings of the Christian faith. As part of the Wesleyan tradition, we affirm the central truths of the Gospel, including the lordship of Jesus Christ, the work of the Holy Spirit, and the call to live a holy and transformed life.

We value clarity and conviction in what we believe, and we encourage anyone who wants to explore these beliefs further to review our full doctrinal statements and Articles of Religion.

Our Leadership Team

These values shape the culture of Lakeside Regional Church and guide the way we worship, lead, serve, and care for one another.
