Lakeside Regional Church has worked hard to establish a significant presence in Ticonderoga. Our Church Office is located in the center of town on Montcalm street and we have leveraged that location to reach out into the community during well established community events. One of our most successful is our open house during the Towns annual Halloween Fest. This event draws people from surrounding towns and for two hours in the afternoon on October 31 thousands of people bring their children to Montcalm street to show off their costumes and visit local shops for refreshment and treats. We have been participating for seven years now and it has given us an opportunity to connect with over a thousand individuals each year. We give out close to 700 gift bags to children as well as information packets to their parents. Teachers in our congregation report that many children show up at school for several days after with the gifts they received while visiting us – sparking additional conversations that have the potential to draw a wider circle of people to God.
